Grocery Stores
We recommend stopping at a larger grocery store in Idaho Falls, Bozeman or West Yellowstone before heading into Big Sky because there are only two small grocers in Big Sky, both in the Meadow Village off of the Big Sky Spur Road.
Big Sky Meadow Village Country Market
It is located on your right in the first shopping complex about a mile and a half in as you head up the Big Sky Spur Road from the intersection of Highway 191. It is behind the first row of buildings so you have to drive into the complex to see it back on your right.
The Hungry Moose
Located on your right side after you turn left onto Ousel Falls Road in the middle of the Meadow Village (just a few blocks past the first store). We use these stores mostly to fill in and shop our major trips in Bozeman at one of the major stores or as far away as Idaho Falls when we drive up.
Large Stores
There is a large Fred Meyer’s, Smiths and an Albertsons in Idaho Falls (take the Business loop off of Interstate 15 just before you get to the Highway 20 turnoff for West Yellowstone). Remember to buy ice to keep things cold it’s still a few hours drive from Idaho Falls.
