Places to Eat in Big Sky
Obviously the kitchen at Mountain Meadows is equipped to handle as many people as you can feed. Just don’t throw food down the garbage disposer, for some reason it clogs up the grease trap and septic tank, everything else is available for your use. If you use the burners on the grill, griddle, or stove please turn on the overhead ventilation fans (switch is on the wall near the sink), they are loud but effective. The walk in refrigerator and freezer are designed so you can’t get locked in, and the light switches are on the outside.

There are several good restaurants in the Big Sky area if you want to eat out, from very casual to fairly expensive.

The Corral

The Corral is located just out Beaver Creek Road and south about 2 miles on Highway 191 on your right.  This is the quintessential mountain roadhouse, ideal for breakfast, lunch, dinner, sports lounge, or beer bar.  They have moose on the walls and buffalo on your plate.  Hamburgers and Buffalo Burgers are great and the salad bar is a hit. Moderately priced but they have everything from steaks and chops with nice wines to my favorite the Walleye Fish Dinner. Kids like the Fried Macaroni and Cheese Wedges ( I know, but they’re on vacation too!).

Mielky's

This Pizza and sandwich shop also has burgers and drinks and is popular with the locals who work the mountain in the winter and the river in the summer. It is located just behind off Big Sky Spur Road One block past the Ousel Falls Road as you head up from the Meadow Village to the Mountain Village of Big Sky. It is in a little shopping center with the Blue Moon Bakery.

Word of Mouth

Word of Mouth is a nice dinner restaurant with full Bistro style menu and nice wine list
 - Buck’s T4 - is one of the nicest western style restaurants in the Big Sky area and is right on Highway 191 next door to Geyser Whitewater one mile south of the Big Sky Spur Road turnoff of 191. They feature wild game of almost every kind from Boar, to Buffalo, elk, and antelope and venison. They also have beef and some seafood, and everything here is very good but not cheap.

Blue Moon Bakery

Blue Moon Bakery serves Desserts, Breads and Sandwiches, and is located just behind off Big Sky Spur Road One block past the Ousel Falls Road as you head up from the Meadow Village to the Mountain Village of Big Sky. It is in a little shopping center with Mielky's.

The 320 Ranch
The 320 Ranch is a dude ranch on the Gallatin River about 6 miles south of the Beaver Creek Road turnoff on Highway 191. It is a nice complex across a bridge on the Gallatin and they have horseback riding and cabins. They do an annual rodeo once a year sometime in the summer and they do dinner most nights in a very nice restaurant although the service has been only fair.  Food is very good and atmosphere very nice log cabin rustic style.

Bugaboos

Nice casual family style restaurant cafe just north of the Big Sky Spur Road turnoff of the Highway 191, They are well known for their breakfasts and they serve lunch and dinner as well.
