The Main Cabin

Bedrooms
There are seven bedrooms and eleven bathrooms in the main house at Mountain Meadows Davis Ranch.  There are three upstairs bedrooms and four downstairs. Each room is themed with a different animal as depicted on a wood cut-out on each bedroom door.

We use the "Bear Room" upstairs as our master bedroom even though there are bigger rooms in the cabin.  Each bedroom has its own private bathroom, television with cable, dresser and closet, sitting area, and patio or balcony (The Eagle Room does not have a patio or balcony. However, it is the only bedroom that contains a shower/bath combo). Each of the three upstairs rooms sleeps two in queen or king beds. Two of the downstairs rooms sleep two in each and two of the rooms sleep four in each room (one room has two queens and one has a queen and a pullout couch).  We use these rooms for the girls and boys respectively since the teenagers like to be together generally. We also have two twin-sized, roll-away beds that can be placed in any room (one is upstairs in a closet near the front door hallway and one is downstairs in the laundry room). We also have a pull out couch in the office near the living room.
The cabin holds a maximum of 22 guests.

Fire Place and Camp Fire
Fires are always nice on cool evenings and you can us the wood on the porch if you want to make a fire. Just make sure the knobs on the wall above the fireplace near the front door are turned 180 degrees all the way on to ensure ventilation up the draft before you start the fire. They can be turned off late at night when the fire is out or left on all night and turned off in the morning.

In the summer, we generally skip in door fires and make a big fire in the camp fire ring about 100 yards down the hill to the left as you exit the front door of the house.  Have everybody bring a piece of wood to the fire ring at dusk and sit on the log seats and tell stories, look at stars, and make s’mores! Take a flashlight to guide your way back in the dark (large skewers are on one of the racks in the kitchen).

*MAKE SURE TO CHECK POSTED FIRE WARNINGS IF YOU DECIDE TO USE THE CAMP FIRE PIT

Sauna
There is an indoor sauna available for your use. Be sure to turn off the sauna when finished.

Dining Room

The main dining room was originally configured to accommodate up to sixty guests but now features a sitting area with four overstuffed recliners, reading lamps, and a baby grand piano and still easily accommodates over thirty diners.

Thirsty Moose Bar

The Thirsty Moose Bar has soft drinks on fountain, an overhead television served by satellite dish and a centralized music system broadcast to all public areas.

WiFi
A wi-fi network provides internet connection in most all public areas of the house as well as the bedrooms.
Kitchen
The commercial kitchen is outfitted with both a walk-in refrigerator and freezer, convection oven, indoor grill, built in griddle, commercial dish washer, ice makers, microwaves, and food warmers to accommodate all of your culinary needs. Local chefs can be arranged to come in upon request.

Living Room

The living room area affords beautiful views of the Spanish Peaks Range and Lone Mountain at the Big Sky Ski Area and is the center of activity when the large log burning fireplace is roaring on cold winter nights.
