MMDR History

Mountain Meadows Lodge sits on forty beautiful acres halfway up from the Gallatin River to Lone Peak Mountain at Big Sky. The Lodge was conceived and built by Charles "Chuck" Severn and his wife Eran and their family in 1999 as a bed and breakfast lodge and operated until 2005. Chuck and Eran live in Mountain Meadows year round and area our closest neighbors and great friends. Our caretaker Cathy Johnson lives in one of two smaller cabins also on the property and is available year round as needed to answer any questions you may have and
to ensure your stay is pleasant and enjoyable.
Customer Testimonials

" Mountain Meadows and Big Sky were more beautiful than I could ever have imagined. The elk and moose were out grazing everyday and the scenery was unmatched by any mountains I have seen anywhere. It will take ten more trips to Mountain Meadows and Yellowstone Park just to see and do everything there is to do there, and then we'll start over! Thank you for sharing it with us!  The Hodges"
